Polychronopolis

Polychronopolis, a Minneapolis native, honed his radio talents in his hometown on KEGE 93.7FM “The Edge” as an intern for superstar talent “Weasel” at night.  The experience inspired this Midwestern talent to invent his own name and dedicate his career to new music radio stations.  After three years at KEGE, Polychronopolis moved to Vail, Colorado for a full-time opportunity with Radio One Networks.  Although he started out on overnights, he quickly catapulted to a morning drive slot, the most coveted in the radio industry. 

Before joining Q, Polychronopolis’ career led him to Des Moines, IA on LAZER - KAZR 103.3FM where he worked overnights and then back to Minneapolis to KXXR-93X FM to host weekends.  His love for music expanded outside his on-air duties as he took an interest in selecting the music the stations were playing.  When an opportunity became available at Waitt Radio Networks in Omaha as a Music Director, Polychronopolis jumped at the chance, but getting back behind the microphone and on one of the top rated stations in the Midwest was his real goal.  Polychronopolis joined the Q Team in Spring 2008 as the Weekday PM Drive host from 3:00pm-7:00pm and on can be heard on Sunday nights from 8:00pm-10:00pm as the host of Q’s popular “Ultra Modern Show,” a program dedicated to cutting edge new music.
