Bizzy B

Bryant "Bizzy B" McCain is an Omaha native who was exposed at an early age to music. With a number of musicians in his family, as well as his mother, who directed the church choir, the family attempted to get him to play the violin, drums and piano. But Bizzy found he didn't have the patience to practice any of these fine instruments. Instead, he spent his time digging through his Uncle's records and listening to music for hours.

He launched his DJ talents in the 5th grade when Bizzy played records for a class picnic. His first official DJ event was at a party in the "Vietnam" projects. Only in the 8th grade at the time, he had to be home by 11pm, so the party was brief. Needless to say, the exposure was enough to launch a career in the music industry.

While stationed in Germany, Hawaii and Spain, Bizzy honed his broadcasting skills before moving to Virginia to attend Virginia State University where he expanded his exposure as a DJ and prepared for a return to his hometown of Omaha to launch his radio career.

Bizzy launched his radio career at Hot 107.7, Omaha's urban radio station as a Program Director and on-air talent throughout the life of Hot 107.7. The station converted to POWER-106.7FM to serve the listeners needs as a Rhythmic Contemporary Hit Station. He continues as the Program Director for Power 106.9, and as an on-air talent, hosting the Power Lunch, weekdays from 12-1pm.
